I think the one I tried was on a Surefire 762. Maybe the difference is due to the diameter of the can. The scallops on the Sandman body may help too.

Suppressed guns get filthy. I can't say I've ever noticed a significant difference between ammo brands, because the gun is nasty no matter what. But I generally follow the "brass case only" rule.
