M107. The rounds they gave us to zero were nothing but de-linked M2 Browning .50 cal. rounds. we were hitting targets out to 1200 meters all day long. loud as hell, but a Kitty cat to shoot. Less kick then a 12 gauge.

They have dried up pretty much, so the only way you can get one is from the secondary market... But the most I'd pay for one is maybe $1600.

I think I could sell a AR-15 to someone who didn't have one and buy my unicorn a M-76 in 8mm... I think they are going for $1200-$1300 at the moment, but if there was a AWB II, I dont think they would go up that much since they are not in huge demand.

Then I'm pretty sure you will need a 2 zeros, since a can will cause a shift ( I've only shot the 110 SASS with a can, and there was a shift of about 6 inches (at 300m) when we put the cans on after the open zero. Maybe do a 25m zero w/ the irons and 200, w/ the can, do a red dot zero of 200m...

Okay... Now the question is this rifle going to be a SHTF, combat type? A do you want a combat zero? ( a combat M4 zero is for 300 meters.) This zero is good for just about everything, I have found it is good for 50-300 meters, and I use it for 3 gun. And BTW I do both sights Irons and red dot...

What are you trying to zero? A, AR-15? Or something else?

I don't co-witness anything b/c the irons, are a totally separate sight from a red dot... I get into this in my AR class.. I'm not going to write it all out, WAYYY to much explain, but both sights should be zeroed separately, and it dosent matter where the red dot is in relation to your iron sights.

Yes, water proof boots, but the rain could (will) get in your boots from the top, esp. if you tuck your pants in your boots. Oh I almost forgot, leather man type tool.
