Mil spec. Chrome lined barrels should have a service life of 40 to 50 thousand rounds. The military would go broke swapping barrels at 10k rounds. I used to be cheap, and buy shitty ammo. But for just a little more money, you get a lot more accuracy and reliability and a much longer service life...

I remember the shows in the mid 80's and 90's all sorts of cool stuff, like $99.00 K98's... I have the receipt for the Japanese paratrooper take down rifle from 1991, I think he paid $40.00 for it. Yeah those days are gone.

Gun shows use to be a good time, and all sorts of cool stuff to look at. Now it's just the same old shit at every show.

I tried a new IPA... it has a high ABV% but it kinda reminds me of someone who put there cigarette butt in your beer when you're not looking, and take a swig. Long story short... I rather drink cigarette beer than a rice beer...
