If you get one, post it up. I lucked up and got a few original Beryl stocks a few years ago. They’ve dried up now and are hard to find. These guys claim to have improved on the design. If so, I’ll be buying some soon.

Atlantic has a stock specificaly for a Beryl. Because of the optic rail, rear trunnion is different than a regular AKM trunnion.

For real, why doesn't @Shemp just get off the pot and buy the ACE in 308? Seems like that would be your grail gun no? Despite having zero reason to own a 308 (I had a PTR91 at once to get "muh battle rifle") I should have gotten the ACE in 308 as well when it was $1000/1100. I'd never shoot it but when everyone starts breakdancing I'd be ready

I've never fiddled with FALs much, so this should be interesting.

I've had several AR10s. I've probably owned an example of most modern or semi modern firearms currently available, and some fairly esoteric stuff as well. You're welcome to shoot my FALs, but my opinions are borne of experience. The first AR pattern rifle I ever bought was an Armalite AR10.

Maybe that’s the problem. I’m not running an AR10. It’s an LR-308. Close, but not quite the same.

I will when I find a decent deal on one. Like 1200-1200. I wish they were 18" barrel. That seems optimal for 308
