And yeah I’ve read very briefly in the past on how the parts can be so mismatched on these firearms. It always confuses me on what brings value on the carbine and what diminishes it

I have several books on these and can look at it and give you all the info you need just from memory.
I also have 2 White Box Winchester M1-Carbines that are Un-issued that are worth 2500.00 each.
I have a IBM that is all original and Rare by its self.
I work on these and can replace every part including the barrel and set the Headspace because my grandfather taught me how to use his tools he had from WWII, he was an Armorer.

I finally got the teardrop FAs in, and they didn't have the pin or spring...dammit.

If anybody knows where I can get a couple sets without having to pay ridiculous shipping or without having to buy the WHOLE assembly, lemme know, please!
