A guy I’m talking to is recovery firearms from his dads horder house. It was one of them

800 is a deal right now but better price would be in the 1k mark.
Lots of things bring price up on these including Barrel date condition parts Manufacturer and who made the Stock and is it proper for the rifle.
Need pictures of it and all markings on it to give a better value.

He just sent me the one photo. I offered him 500. He just called it a Inland. I figured it would be a good replacement of my 1960s Universal repro

And yeah I’ve read very briefly in the past on how the parts can be so mismatched on these firearms. It always confuses me on what brings value on the carbine and what diminishes it

Looks great! I really enjoy my 10.5 as often as possible!!!

Thanks! It was sold to me as a Colt 10.3" but I think it's a 10.5" and not Colt. But I think it's still a good barrel. It has a date code stamp on it like a Colt barrel does but no other markings. For $118 shipped, I'm happy with it. Just wish I knew what it was. It's a heavy profile with the M203 cuts. Having trouble researching online.

Oh and I blame @Jds556762 for making me want to change this grip and cerakote the upper.

Yes that’s kind of my line of thinking. Simple easy and everyone knows how to make it go boom. We’ll be meeting up there tomorrow at 9am. Sounds like he’s gonna walk outta there with something. Not sure of how background checks are done at gun shows for non CCW holders. I’ve always been one and I’ve only filled out a 4473 at a gun show
It’s this lovely thing called a cellphone. They call a number, and someone answers. Info is exchanged...you get the idea.

Interesting story here.....

I've been wondering if the German Army (Bundeswehr) would stick with H&K or go with another German option to replace their troubled G36 rifles. The winner is...surprise...C.G. Haenel. It's a semi-automatic version of the same weapon, the CR223, is already used by certain police forces in Germany and law-enforcement agencies in other countries.

Fill out the 4473, call it in, if approved (most are within 5 minutes) you pay and carry your gun home.

Make sure he brings his Georgia Drivers license or ID card. If he uses credit card there is a $5 surcharge

Cool man thanks. Yeah I guess I failed to remember how fast they can do a background check. I just always think about the NFA wait times. It’s been awhile since I’ve bought a gun from a brick and mortar store
