Jeep Cherokee 4.0L is the way and the truth.

Tell that to my son's friend. He's had 2 ( 2002 and now a 1998) and BOTH have been nightmares. He's currently robbing the 2002 for parts to keep the 1998 running.
It's a cool as hell LOOKING truck - but I finally took a ride in it the other day, and I gotta say - as much as I may bitch about The Beast, it's a MUCH better vehicle. And I didn't even have to say it. As we got back to the house, the kid looked at my truck and said "Wanna trade?"

FUCK NO.

Maybe a week. He's wanting something with a rail...he doesn't know much about them so I'm trying to get him something that's good quality and not pay panic pricing. Which may or may not be easily done...

Lemme make a call. I know a guy looking to sell a PSA build on an Anderson lower, lemme see what he wants for it.

Well, of course they would .
The BMW shop I used to go to when I couldnt fix something also spoke VERY highly of BMWs.
Having vast experience with most euro cars, there are very very few BMW models I could speak highly of.
Let‘s put it this way: of all the european cars brought here or made here the BMWs account for about 15-18% of them, yet at least 60% of the cars needing service and repair going through the shops are BMWs (you can confirm this with any euro shop)

If I could get one in the States, i would. It is a pain to import one, and my Toyota hook up works only in US.
My dad has worked at AWNC (Toyota transmission manufacturer) since before they started production, so he get big discounts on Toyota's. I really like those new FDE Tacoma. But I don't get his discount so it's outta my price range.
