In my humble opinion, I think a growing portion of LE are The narcissistic authoritarian type, and like @AC-130 Above stated, don’t like hearing it from us plebeians. When you have a bunch of raging type A borderline sociopaths with guns and badges, the outcome won’t be pleasant. Police nowadays are more focused on serving warrants and executing orders than serving the community and executing discernment. Regardless of race, gender, etc, we can ALL agree a portion of cops are out of control.

I also think that a lot of people who have thought about becoming a LEO, people who are educated well rounded and would be a great officer don’t sign up due to all this anti-cop shit and the daily fear of being caught on camera doing something that could be portrayed as racist/harassment/abusive in the wrong light/context. Cops now are nothing like they were before smart phones. The stress lvl I feel like is way worse and the pay really doesn’t compensate the work load

They’re ridiculous. They claim to be scared for their life but doing stuff like this complete opposite of what they’re preaching for sure. I don’t understand people, they think think rioting and looting going to get the response they want. They should be placed in a mental institution

I installed the retainer clips in the scabbard.

The pommel/lock was a from a yugo bayonet. Probably gonna use a yugo lanyard strap and yugo hanger. They are virtually identical to the Iraqi ones anyways.

Still gotta drill a hole for the screw to keep the pommel attached, fabricate a plug for each side of the handle, and figure out how the fuck to replace the broken wirecutter
