I’ve been working on the G19, and have some progress to report:

Rounded the trigger guard, and am considering thinning The front of it out to match the thinner section where previous owner sanded some away...
Also rounding the front of the grip frame. Will add some texture when I’m happy with the shape.
Lastly, I’m about to ‘fire’ up the heat gun and melt the back strap and reduce it a little. I’m glad I researched “Glock grip reduction”, because I was going to epoxy fill it and grind away what I didn’t want, but I much prefer the heat gun way.

After I get this thing to feel right in the hand, I’m gonna let it be kinda BFPU looking, but inside it’ll have the best fucking trigger I can buy, and a threaded barrel, plus suppressor-height night sights (if anyone makes them for not stupid prices).

I have what was a very nice teak lower handguard.... Unfortunately there is a major crack along the grain line so it is completely unserviceable.

Time to see how well lacquered wood takes the dye...

It’s those damn Antifas. When I lived in Newnan we had a white supremacist group come to town and antifa used it as a excuse to come and try and fuck up my hometown. They were met with something they’ve never seen before. A multi agency cops from all around southwest GA, tact the fuck up with AR’s armored vehicles etc. they didn’t take any of their antifa shit. It was text book how Coweta county handled those domestic terrorists. I was so proud of them haha. I had the same problem and couldn’t figure out the cause. Installed the incredibly meh oem parts and problem was fixed. But I have a stock trigger. Meh.
