If you are running a comboc slant break or muzzle nut, or one of the American 922r copies the bayonet should fit. But to your question, the detent and spring should be fine. You might mar the barrel threads though, but probably not enough to matter. I would try and figure out which is out of spec, the muzzle nut or the bayonet guard and fix that.

AK74 style will work with the bayo also, if FSB has a bayo lug, ala AK74

Man the interwebz is taking a beating. I noticed it last week when the kids were home but it's getting worse. All these people home with nothing to do surfing the web and streaming movies (and working from home) are maxing out the bandwidth. My connection is crap to begin with but it's getting really slow.

If I didnt have kids and need to worry about school districts, I'd have 15 acres about 30 miles north.
