Go buy the smallest squeeze clamp you can from HF and clamp the release in the open position.

Then you can get in there better with a file or dremel. Try to put an angle and make it ramp downward, that way it won't wobble and if you have mags that are older or newer it will still engage.

Why would I clamp the Mag release? Seems like I could get to it pretty easily here

My experience with Turk pistols is something like 1 out of 3 are amazing and the others are pretty much trash.

The SAR K2 is an awesome .45 IMO. It's like if CZ redesigned the 97B. 13+1, adjustable sights, solid fit and finish. At the time it was also something like $355. I should have bought two.
