Thats just goes to show either the Ruger rep was confused or plainly didn't know what they were talking about. I bet when you take your striker assembly apart even at 3000 rounds you will find it to be pretty clean in there and most likely could run another 3000 rounds before it actually need...

Had mine in for 6 weeks now, have run maybe 100 rounds through the gun, I have cycled rounds through the mag manually (without the mag being in the gun) Murphy's law IMO exists so anything can happen with or with out this product. I have seen no reason to mistrust it over the original mag...

I think he had $749.00 on it. I know it was mid to high 7's range. I didn't seem to see the price as all I could see was 1911! It was sweet. It was thinner than I thought it would be. Haven't made the first payment on my SR9c yet. It was hard to walk away.

Went to the GS this past weekend in Akron Ohio and they had a booth there and I got to hold the n82's. I talked to the rep and he said he can almost guarantee that they won't be making a left handed professional version of the N82 due to the molds are to expensive to make and there just isn't...

Went to a GS in Akron Ohio Saturday and got to hold a SR1911. It was really nice, I may have been temped but he only had the one that was on the table. Maybe it shouldn't matter but I want NIB "when" its time to get mine.

Thats what gets me, not much on this at all, yet Ruger CS just told me 200-300 rounds. Heck some people shoot more than that at one range visit. I'll keep to my plan at check at 800-1000 rounds and do some research But as far as disassembly this guy shows a pretty decent job but doesn't talk...

I agree. Especially since I only use store bought rounds as well. I am thinking about checking it around 800 -1000 rounds. I just don't see it getting that dirty at 200-300 rounds. Curious on anyone that cleaned theirs and at what round number and how did it look?

I emailed Ruger to see what they recommend: Response: We would recommend cleaning of the striker channel about every 200 to 300 rounds, depending on what type of ammunition you are shooting.

Most of you know I just purchased the SR9c, I read that it's a good idea to clean the striker assembly right off the bat. I have not as of yet. I haven't seen anyone really talking about it much. Curious if the SR#c owners clean theirs when and how often. Thanks.

Can't take credit for the box, Fin Feather Fur has these little range boxes for $19.95. The tray fits perfectly on the top and the foam holds them snug. It has two sturdy latches with a hole on each latch for pad locks. It really is a sturdy plastic case and a great idea. Best 20 bucks I spent...
