It does sound like there is an effort by some to apply reasonable standards in terms of balancing mental illness and 2A rights. Still, it is a "weasel clause" that could be very useful to gun grabbers. It remains a very slippery slope.

Maybe that's how it will CONTINUE. Even the NRA, as a proponent of mental illness exclusions, may not have picked up on this nuance...
