Me either. But I'll still make fun of yours. When I go out, I'm looking to put meat in the freezer. If it's legal and I can eat it, I'll shoot it. Unfortunately I just don't get to go anymore.
I love Ruger. I love rimfire rifles and pistols but it seems to me that this thing is just impractical. I saw one of these sitting on the counter at the Gun Room in Conyers yesterday and my first thought is that it's a cool looking little rig. Then I picked it up and my second thought is what...
Do it.
I used to work down south a lot and I grew up in south GA. Still have friends there. I passed through Macon almost every week. My circumstances have changed drastically and I almost never travel anymore.
Best all around .22 pistol I've owned and my favorite host. You won't miss the $300. Actually, I think I paid slightly more than that for the threaded model, but then again, we don't have any place like Cherokee around here.
Billet is generally thicker. It has to be thicker to equal the strength of forged. Forged is basically compressed so it can be thinner and still have the same weight and strength.
I just went to the sheriffs office by my work to get printed and they told me that I had to be a resident of their county. So gay. It's right by my work and much closer to me than the one in the county where I live.
Taurus revolver is the only gun I've ever had multiple unrelated failures with. I can't express enough what a POS that turd was and how terribly they handled it. The third time I sent it back they sent me a new gun. A cheaper gun... In total it probably took 4 months for them to make it "right".
