I liked the article. For the sake of discussion I will give you my views on "truck guns".
I like having one, I do not keep one in my current truck due to not having a way to properly secure it.
In my last truck I was able to secure it in a way that you had to get through a padlock or totally...
@NWS or @PewPewPewCo could answer this.
But when you submit the papers for a SBR don't you have to list the barrel length/ caliber and are supposed to have the set up you listed available?
Out of curiosity. How has the finish on the barrel handled the round count? I'm not one to give a fuck about wear on guns but it's more out of curiosity.
The AR I have was a complete upper and lower so the next one I want to assemble from scratch so I will take you up on that since I have no idea what I'm doing.
Good call on the barrel length. I do plan on a suppressor in the next year or so.
I don't plan on putting iron sights or anything tacticool. I'll probably do a Freefloat Keymod rail with an bipod. I want something with attachment options for moving the bipod and sling easy to get the set up how...
Cmshoot hit the main points
Also because I think they are kinda cool. I was also thinking if I ever get a can it would be nice to have an adjustable gas block so I could turn it into a straight pull bolt action to keep it quiet.
I want a precision rifle. I had been planning to build a Rem 700 but I want to explore the option of a AR build.
This would be used for targets and maybe some coyote hunting. I am not looking to shoot out to 1000 yards with it. Just thinking that muscle memory and being able to switch parts to...
Valid point. It is one of the reasons I've had trouble quitting. At work the appetite suppressant part and a boost in energy come in handy. When I've tried to quit I'm sleepy and hungry all day.
I don't think they are bad but they are not great looking either. But, functionality wise I really like them.
Ease of mounting accessories, I really like the grip angle, and the adjustable comb height is nice.
I want one with an RMR but it's WAY out of my price range.
Long term I want a G17 or 34 with a TLR-1, threaded barrel, reddot and suppressor sights I can see through the optic. That's my dream bedside pistol.
