I'm with airops and Mac11fa, I would make sure the chamber is in spec. Did you notice the same burn marks on both brands? Did they start doing it right away or was it after shooting some that this started?

I have no doubt about that, I think we will see shortages through early spring and then things will start to calm down. I think we have had enough panics the last 8 years that this one won't be quite as bad.

Here's another one. I have a holster, Glock mag holster, and AR mag holster from leshire in black. I want a FDE one, but I'd also have to buy a FDE version of each of them.

That's my goal. Hopefully (trying to stay optimistic here) this time next year I will be able to afford to only buy ammo in bulk so I can keep it all loose in ammo cans. I don't have many calibers and only plan to pick up two more so it will be easy. 9mm and .223/5.56 then .22 when I get one...

I have a ziplock bag with like 4 different calibers and 2 or 3 different types of each in it. No more than 4 of any one. I am just going to shoot them next time I'm at the range to get rid of them. I even have a handful of .45 and I don't have a .45 anymore.

was going through my ammo and mags and realized how much it bothers me to have one or two of certain styles of mags and not enough ammo cans to keep them stored and organized how I want. Then the ammo was killing me having different brands and weights so I have to leave them all in the boxes...

I think I'm up to a fair amount of my 15 rounders, I'll probably pick up a few 17 round mags too. I need one more factory mag and then the rest I buy will be the magpul ones.
