I shoot brass almost exclusively for this reason. BUT, if budget is a real concern, steel can be had for a good bit less. Especially if you're buying multiple cases, it can start to add up.

Wolf runs fine in most guns, but you do have to clean them more often, especially the chamber. The biggest issue I see is stuck cases. The result of a dirty chamber. I've never seen a PSA gun in either the Premium line or the Hammer Forged line that wouldn't run wolf. I've never fooled around...

The only advantage I see, assuming that it doesn't create any reliability issues, is that you can easily swap the bolt face for other calibers. And if they were so inclined, they could offer different weight carrier tails. But someone would need to offer uppers in other calibers for any of that...

I thought really hard about the Ultra 7, but ended up going with the Harvester for a little less than half the cost. A lot of guys seem to be having good results with them. I also decided that my next can will probably be a Rugged Surge 762. Those things are nice!

Looks like they're fixing them. One report was that a guy had his back in about a week. No surprise there. Looks to be a design or QC issue. The interesting thing is, the can design would allow for easy repair in the event of a baffle strike since the outer sleeve essentially does nothing...

Referring to the flats above and below the ports. I'd bet they fit an armorers wrench.

It looks like the flats are similar to the AAC brake, integrated with the body on top and bottom.

There's an interesting thread running over on AR15.COM showing an Omega that came apart. Outer tube separated from the core. At least two other users have chimed in with similar experiences. Has anyone here heard about this? Thoughts...

All mine are 1/2x28, naturally. Being able to swap the thread adapter out will be a nice bonus.

Normal cook offs due to the rate of fire. But it did a good job of demonstrating that the modular design would outperform the capabilities of an AR.
