I'd do a plug. I think I figured out a way to do it where it's easy to remove if I need to as well. It would mostly just be for a fun project to see if I could. I also plan on making a rifle stock sometime soon to see if I can as well.

Everyone I've talked to said that style grip is surprisingly comfortable to shoot. I am not sure of the legality of using an angled foregrip on one, I know they are legal on AR pistols so I would assume it would be on this.

I hope one of these will be my Christmas present. I want to try and make a wood version of the grip. Obviously keep it legal and it may never get shot that way but if I can dress one of these up with some wood I think would make a cool looking gun.

Oh I feel you on that. Before I shot suppressed I never thought t was worth the money. Since then I've shot lots of suppressed guns and I absolutely want two of them. And I really dread the wait. I can only afford to buy one or two guns a year. Spending 700+ on a can would mean no other guns...

its easy. Measure and mark off where you want the cuts to be. Set your depth stop on the drill press and use it to remove the bulk of the material. Use a dremel or sharp razor knife to remove remaining material Use sandpaper to clean up the edges and round them over so they don't hurt...

I've thought about that. But the can I want first plus the stamp will cost almost as much as much as both guns I need combined. I've gone my whole life without any NFA items so I am not in a huge rush.

I have two more guns on my "need" list and then I'm going to get in the NFA stuff. Luckily both of the guns I need are under $500. I'm hoping to put in for my first stamp early next year.

I've shot them a couple of times. I think it's the AR equivalent of the Desert Eagle in .50AE personally. The quick Google search I did looks like the ballistics are not great considering the cost of ammo. I personally would do a AR-10 and enjoy better/cheaper/more ammo choices.

I'll admit 90% of why I got one was purely aesthetic, I don't like how far out front my light sits with a stock barrel, I think it looks funny. The other 10% was for when I have the opportunity to use someone's can on my Glock.
