What's the deal with everyone running threaded barrel now? I totally get it if you're running a suppressor, but to just put a threaded barrel on to have it seems kinda dumb to me.

I'll admit 90% of why I got one was purely aesthetic, I don't like how far out front my light sits with a stock barrel, I think it looks funny. The other 10% was for when I have the opportunity to use someone's can on my Glock.
