Stainless can be dipped, ultrasonic, or steel pin tumbled with no issue. Aluminum can't be dipped, technically shouldn't be ultra sonic(has yet to cause issues on mine), and some claim steel pin media is a bad idea. Additionally it's just more durable.

All stainless baffles, baffled protect the tube, easier to find Pistons/3lug. Iirc AAC doesn't make a 5/8x24 piston if you ever want to use blackout or use that thread on other guns(44, 45lc and such where .578x28 may be less desired)
