Could have been the FL or debris, but I have seen so so so many issue that have their root cause with that stuff. Slip 2000 or CLP in my AR's with the latter getting the most use. My Glocks get just the 6 recommended contact points with a CLP precision pin. No more then that.

Could be pistol related, you never know. I also used WWB behind a crap box of Federal reloads my buddies were shooting. We started having issues with them in a G17 and G19, swapped to WWB and no issues...both have left a bad taste in my mouth. Surprisingly though, the cheap steel cases blazer...

I too have had issues with WWB. My only two issues with a Glock have been with crap Federal reloads and WWB....like a lot of it. Click, nothing, let it sit pointed down range for 30 seconds, manually ejected the round, it fed the next one, click, same thing again and again. Dumped the rounds out...

I am 99% sure that all Colt Hybrid PSA carriers use only 1 SHCS to fasten the carrier key. That hole does not look threaded, and I I have not seen any other Colt PSA carriers with 2 fasteners. It looks like a poor design.

I actually woudn't mind trying a gen II. They have the perfect amount of magwell flare, but remain forged. My only concern would be that the lower could suffer from the same QC problems as their Gen I's, which would be a waste for how much the Gen II's go for.

IMHO, DD is a great company that makes a solid rifle. I don't consider them a sell out, but more of a quality brand that has been able to capitalize on a very high demand market and has made a made a great reputation for itself. The fact that they are able to put lots of rifles in retail stores...

I just know enough to know Gen 1 are their normal forged type lower (looks like all others), gen 2's have the nicely flared magwell, but still forged, and Gen 3's are the most extreme flared magwell and are billet, not forged. There is a noticeable difference between the quality of a new Gen 1...

This must be why I always thought the Gen III looked like they were manufactured somewhere else from the Gen 1's.
