    Getting a scope level

Assuming you have a quality set of rings or one piece mount that did not require lapping, I personally use precision flange levels and a rifle rest. Level the action with 1 level, then use the other level on the elevation turret to level the reticle to the rifles action. Make sure both stay...

    Savage MSR Teaser

Given they list MSRP, my guess would be street prices around $1,800-$,1,900. Would be nice to try that LR in 6.5cm too.

    Arion Compact Ported Suppressor

Yeah, that design is lame. Reminds me of the old brick cell phones. Bulky and dated

    Aimpoint Pro QRP2 Question

The thumb screw on the QRP2 is spring loaded and ratchets so you cannot over tighten it. That said, taking it off can be done by hand, and just a few turns. About as quick as a traditional QD lever.

    Aimpoint Pro QRP2 Question

It's sturdy but heavy and bulky. My PRO has it. I wouldn't mind a lighter and smaller mount though.

    How many AR SBR Lowers?

I want 3. 1 for the wife, 2 to leave as configured.

    Savage MSR Teaser

I get a poor man SCAR vibe from that teaser. That's nice because I want a SCAR, but I'm also poor...

    Build ideas

Ridiculously accurate with good ammo. The adjustable stock is sturdy, but adjusting it is clunky and not as user friendly as something like a Magpul PRS stock. The rail is ok and the provided rail section attached with a nice tight fit and secured very solid. Safety selector on mine is smooth...

    Pine Mountain, Cartersville GA

Been up Pine Mountain so many times. It is a great view! Just be careful up top in the warm months. The yellow jackets sometimes get a tad out of control at the top in certain areas.

    Build ideas

Yep, and they are no longer $939 since Ruger cancelled all Gen 1 RPR dealer orders, you can only get gen 2's now, which is what I ended up with. $1,299 and a 10-11 month wait for 6.5cm. 243's were kind of quick to get and they even had the last gen1 demo model for sale quite a while as its just...

    Stripped Lower... Now What?!?!?

Yeah, i'm lost on this one. Just build the lower and buy an upper in one of the probably 15+ calibers compatible with the AR15 platform...

If you had $500 right now what would you buy?

Yeah, blems use to be though to find anything wrong minus a lighter shade of gray anodizing. Now, it's like they sell trainees first assembly mistakes.

If you had $500 right now what would you buy?

I would buy ammo with it. 5.56 and 6.5cm specifically.

If you had $500 right now what would you buy?

Buyer be aware. Those are put together by blind monkeys. Buddy just bought one. Bolt catch roll pin not all the way installed and lower scuffed, castle nut barely staked off center, grip not installed all the way, mag catch stud scratched up. All things that can be "fixed" but super poor quality...

If you had $500 right now what would you buy?

Huh? I have never bent or lost one. How the hell are you bending them? They go in by hand?

    Precision AR build.

Whatever you end up getting, just hollar at me if you need help to swap things around/install/assemble. I got just about everything you would need minus proprietary wrenches for certain rails.

    Precision AR build.

Just as an FYI, building a precision AR can be done with pretty good components for around $1,000. You can go nearly as high as you want from there though depending on rails, triggers, receiver sets, BCG's, optics, stocks, etc.... My bench gun is similar to Freedoms with a 20" target crowned...

    Precision AR build.

Great, I spec'd out one for a build but was still hesitant to go ahead with a purchase as I hardly see anyone run them or much feedback about them.
