I will agree, somewhat. I've had the plugs done, stupid 2 piece are gone. I've checked VCT solenoids and religiously change my oil with motorcraft stuffs. Never had a problem. Bought the truck with 60k on it, its a bit over 120k now.

The plugs seizing are the main issues with these motors, otherwise they last a long time if maintained. Seen plenty of 5.4s with over 500k miles.

Dude -this is no joke. If you know where to search, there are instructional videos on all kinds of procedures on YT. My wife will be watching some crazy procedure, instructional and sure enough, it's streaming through YT. A good part of nursing/CRNA tutorials are on there.
I'm sure JSteg can attest, many apps from medical field are the "go to" when docs and nurses need to look up pharma specifics, rates, doses, etc...iphones are medical tools now.
