PS I do not know of any other AK manufacturer in Romania besides the Cugir Arsenal same people that make WASR. So if it is marked Romanian, it is a good kit. Maybe a bit crude in finish, but will work and in spec.
It was made in April 1999, during the Clinton AWB act of 1994. Honestly, if it doesn't work in your rifle just throw it away. Mags are meant to be a disposable item.

All I'm gonna say is I HATE riding with the in-laws and going through the drive thru. Anyone who knows my stories understands that this is an extremely muted understatement.
Had weird dreams last night, needed to use my 12 gauge and my reloads were slow as hell and I ended up getting slotted cause of it

That's a cut down 30 round mag, ban era like @Rabbit2047 @EugenFJR and @AC-130 Above said. If it wont lock in the mag well the mag catch/release notch is out of spec. The Old Bushmaster (now Windham Weaponry) made and still makes some good rifles.....but their magazines have always been hit or miss.
