All I'm gonna say is I HATE riding with the in-laws and going through the drive thru. Anyone who knows my stories understands that this is an extremely muted understatement.

Man, I think a precision 10/22 is gonna be my next build "for my son".(That's how I'm gonna try to justify it anyways.)

Talk to @chance , or @ReservoirDawg10 , they know a lot about building 10/22 precision rifles.

I’ve just upgraded mine (again), went from a Green Mountain 18” barrel to a KNS 16.5” stainless fluted threaded barrel...Not that the GM barrel wasn’t any good (it’s amazing), but it would’ve cost more than the New barrel to get it threaded.

And then yesterday I decided I wanted it all to look black again, so I pulled it apart, cleaned it up, put a KIDD block in it, painted the barrel, and reassembled it.

Next step will be to buy a Kidd receiver and move this barrel over to it, then put the Green Mountain barrel back in this old Ruger action and build it up to give to my son.

Gotta handle some bumble-foot later in one of the girls. It’s essentially an infected splinter in their feet, have to go in a cut out the “core” of the infection, disinfect, and wrap the foot until it heals. Will post a thread when we do it
