Yes, but it will be paid off in about ten years at the most. We also acquired a rental property (house) in that 7 year time span. We don't owe anything on the rental. It brings in about $8000 grand a year after we put about $3000 back into it (so we don't have to pay additional taxes). I was actually thinking of selling it before all this 2020 mess and paying off my mortgage. I will probably hold on to it now for a few more years until the all this economic uncertainty stabilizes. We have a good tenant, single father of two, always pays rent on time.
