Yeah, because they are made here. I've handled enough of the Philippine 1911's to know they aren't up to Ruger's standards. There is a reason you can't buy a Ruger or Caspian cast lower 1911 for $400.00. Armscorp 1911's fit the bill for many. I ain't one of those many. I would own a Ruger, no worries.
