It's funny to me, talking to people who can't swim... I never learned to swim. My mother brought me to a pool when I was a baby, as soon as I was old enough to swim on a team, she made me do that. I was literally swept out into the ocean by a rip tide, and ended up swimming back to shore hundreds of meters away from where I went into the ocean. My cousins and I would swim out into the ocean until one of us would chicken out and go back to the shore... looking back on it, I'm amazed that I didn't die.
