I assume it was done with screws because someone didn't know/wasn't willing to learn how to rivet.
Screw build is what guys were doing back in the day. The early builders who couldn’t get a steady supply of reliable rivets or tools really, but were sitting on parts kits. No reason to screw build anything now days with as many builders, and access to reliable tooling, knowledge, etc. it’s the wrong way to do it.
I NEVER trusted any screw build. It’s got an American barrel, I prefer a CHF import barrel, but no marking so I bet an AK Builder barrel. They’re not bad.
the Childers receiver is the lipstick on that pig but who cares at that point.
I would pay 250.00 for it to de-mill and rebuild at another date. honestlY the parts are worth more than that but knowing the work ahead of me I wouldn’t be interested for more than that.
can buy a Romanian parts kit right meow for 300.00 or less. Polish FB CHF/CL barrel for 150. Childers for 100.00 and then do it right. Even polish it up to look bling bling but still be a reliable rifle to re-finish when I’m done flossing out with it.

Tactical tuna for $800?
Anybody has any experience with it? I am waiting for Bren2 release, but this looks interesting. Lack of factory support and parts availability scare me.
