I was kidding... .300 RUM has huge advantages over .308, especially at distance.

Brother in law shot a doe at about 100 yards with a .300 win mag. He said it nearly liquified the insides. Never saw that one myself.

I have to pick and choose where to shoot them. It's pretty easy to lose half a deer with the wrong shot placement . I was loading Berger VLD Bullets .there stupid explosive. I either load nosler partitions or hammer bullets. Not quiet as messy
