I'm building a 16" X39 AR upper. Ordered the parts that I didn't already have in my bins late last night, and it'll be a solid little beastie!

Also got a NICE SET lower from @Balthaz this weekend (thank you again, kind Sir!) and will be building that out with an A1 stock and grip to go with the Dissy upper that I still have (although EVERYONE else who bought one on '19 Black Friday sold theirs - @triplestack3 already had his real Dissy, and still has it).

What's the best method of removing crud from the crown? I've tried flaking it off with a penny before, but it's not a perfect remedy.
