On another note, I got an email notification from Atlantic Firearms saying that their Russian Red kits were back in stock ... but they're asking $199 clams

Should I grab it and dress the ole' WASR up in some red?

The hot peppers, I just wash, dry and freeze whole for salsa later.
The banana peppers will be cut into slices, remove seeds and membrane, blanched and then frozen for salads and such. Maybe add some to relish makings
