how hard is to remove finish on a checkered stock? haha im a noob on this stuff
Pretty easy.
I use this stuff with 4x fine steel wool.
Stay out of the checkering with the steel wool.
Use a toothbrush or hd nylon brush in the checkering.
Once the finish is off you can steam the dings out, repair, stain.
Refinish with truoil x 20+

Got it nylon brush for the checkering. Nice so I can just use that product to take the finish off then just use truoil x 20+? I already got some shellac from the AK wood could I use that? Lol

just bought that stock @Rabbit2047 thanks. Gunbroker guy is gunna give me a refund, he just said throw it away after I sent him pictures.

funny, sneaky AR-7 guys. Still says 1 left, but I thought I bought the last one??

Dont toss the old stock.
That's your instrument to learn the art on if you care.
