In the ocean or just off the beach? Off the beach probably just a 6-7 foot shark.

deep sea (16-18 miles off shore) I’ve caught Goliath grouper, amber jack, 65lb Cobia, 1200lb sail fish, blue marlin, ect. It’s endless. I honestly am not much of a fresh water fisher. I’m not good at it. I can tel you everything about saltwater though.

Biggest thing I ever caught was a 700lb tiger shark off Emerald Island Pier. Fought that sumbitch for 5 hours before I could drag it up on the beach and an off duty deputy shot it for me. Took me almost 2 years to eat it all. I got really good at cooking shark

Took me 4 hours to get a blue marlin in once. Good eating too. Shark is good if done right. A lot of people here don’t eat it though. It’s really tough meat

It is man. I love it. Salt water fishing is so much more fun to me. But I also grew up doing it. Even dad wasn’t much of a fresh water person. He was good at bass fishing but not me. I like that exotic ocean shit.

I've spent a couple, few thousand dollars on charter boats and I can count on both hands the number of fish I've caught. Might have to link up with you, I'm wanting to try one more time before I give up.
