Freeze them. The oil in them will go bad eventually, though, and they won't taste great. Freezing does extend the "good" period significantly though.

Vacuum sealing and storing them in a dark cool place will help. There is a reason root cellars were popular way back then.
PS ad oxygen absorbing packet to the pack before sealing.
