Clean all contacts and posts with terminal brush, $2
After battery is reconnected, either spray contacts with terminal spray or just coat them with vaseline, so it seals air out.
You will not have corrosion issues ever again.

used baking soda + water to clean corroded contacts growing up.
If wire corroded thru, he can replace the wire terminal with a bolt on connector. Works fine.
Yep I’ve cleaned everything. Got terminal brushes but no caps I’ll have to order some. Battery dead so cheers to spending mo money
