That's a mighty high price on a 9 year old vehicle

Shit man, go look on Craigslist or AutoTrader. Used to be you could get a SOLID vehicle for about $3,000. Nowadays if you want a solid, reliable vehicle you're gonna be spending $7,500+. New cars are $30k+ for base models thanks to all these NTSB safety requirements now. Inflation plays a small part in it too but with all of this safety equipment that has to come standard now it does nothing but increase the cost of new vehicles. And they wonder why the US auto makers aren't doing well and need massive bailouts so we are aren't driving Peugeot's or Lancia's in 10 years.

I'm going to have to shop for a car soon and I'm not looking forward to adding a new payment.
I want to find an old Suburban and rock that.
