Caught a few blues yesterday- had fun with the ultralight and carp too.Ugliest and dirtiest fish ever.
No argument there. Blues were slow, no shad, kept catching those little river minnows - tiny hook very small split shot and the ultralight kept me busy.
I use to live off of whiting. Use to be considered a trash fish around here but I’ve always liked them.

Pet store has these emus for $300/each. It would be cool if they only doubled in size...

I didn't like all the bullshit back and forth haggling and telling me what it needed (complete demill AND a new barrel) then after I told them to send it back to me and I'd figure something out, they backtracked and told me it only needed new front and rear trunnion rivets for $185. Then the bill wound up being $325 bc it needed refinishing (which they never mentioned) AND it needed a hole welded up, which I find REAL HARD to believe.
