Without the crutch it's in the "good deal" realm at about $1100 ish value, so it might still be worth the trade. The truth is that rifle was only imported for 3 years, from 1993-1995....so it's only going to go up in value and the curve will always be steeper than a DD AR. That rifle especially because it looks to be in great condition and has all the things that i don't care about but the collectors love (paper and boxes, lol). In a year or two from now a straight trade for a DD rifle might not be an option anymore. But it's going to be hard to find a crutch, they just don't appear that often for sale. Hell, any Maadi parts, outside of a $550 no barrel kits, hardly ever show up for sale. So if you really want a crutch and don't get it in this trade you will be waiting and likely pay up for one. I could live without the crutch, because I prefer a wood stock over anything else, always....but that's just me.
I agree.
I am not a Maadi snob, but I would trade a DD for one in that good of a shape.

Come On @Gaige, get on that Satellite Country Russian AKM Bus! I hope you get it!

By the way...the Comrades over on the files would probably pay $1300 to $1500 for that Maadi package right now. I wouldn't....but those Maadi humpers over there would in a New Your Minute!
I’m trying to make the deal lol. I will do it if he will do rifle for rifle. Still swapping messages with him

I wish I had gotten one. They were nice guns

Yep, one of those and a decent WW1 M98 with "roller coaster" sight is on my "to get" list. I had a WW1 model, but it was absolute garbage. (traded a tattoo for it)
I traded it and fifty bucks for a pristine Swedish 96. 30 minutes later I traded that for a LN Chinese AK. Fifteen minutes later I sold the AK for 225.

Tulsa gun shows in the 90s were good times.
