It’s solid, looks good, very well done. Matches my other chinese furniture. Just wish it was proper length.Looks okay

I don't have any wood furniture to do a dye job on, but honestly I'm an amateur at best. @jimipanic is the real deal.
All I did was sand the WASR furniture and do like 3-4 coats of the rit/shellac mix, letting each coat dry for a few hours before applying the next. Hell I think I was drunk for most of it.
Might not be a bad ideaSo what you are saying us.... send my bakelite grip and forearm to @jimipanic so he can match the grip to the forearm?

Metal pins in the laminate stock is AK milspec. 4 pins, IIRC. Polish and Russian have them too.Was just looking at this; is that WASR furniture? (I'm not an AK aficionado, but based on the nails in the stock, I ventured a guess)...
I'd really like to get my hands on some ultra-nice red furniture, but if that's all that is coming up at the moment, I might bite....
Dye me some laminate and I'm your huckleberryI'd dye it
Sounds legit, I just recall the "pins" being more noticeable in WASR furniture for some reason ... but in any event, I'd still like some slick-looking red furniture (like Atlantic was selling) ...Metal pins in the laminate stock is AK milspec. 4 pins, IIRC. Polish and Russian have them too.
