Looks great!
Not to be a dick, but just genuinely curious; any concern with the dye rubbing off the grip?
Gotcha, good to know! Not that I knew of. Once that shellac hardens, it's well...hard.
Gotcha, good to know!
So lemme know when you wanna sell me a red kit on da low-low ;D
Was just looking at this; is that WASR furniture? (I'm not an AK aficionado, but based on the nails in the stock, I ventured a guess)...GunBroker.com - Error

Your drunk-work is pretty badassI don't have any wood furniture to do a dye job on, but honestly I'm an amateur at best. @jimipanic is the real deal.
All I did was sand the WASR furniture and do like 3-4 coats of the rit/shellac mix, letting each coat dry for a few hours before applying the next. Hell I think I was drunk for most of it.
No such luck unfortunately... All the butt stocks I have laying around are brown of some shade and composition. If you have the stock to go with it, I might know somebody who's looking for a Russian Red kit .... and he'll pay for shipping
Damnit! okay, guess you're off the hookNo such luck unfortunately... All the butt stocks I have laying around are brown of some shade and composition.
I was thinking it'd go nice on a folder
I probably would lolNobody wants to pay to have Uzi kit put together. They ain't the easiest. Ain't the hardest either but I would have to charge about $480 (4hrs @$120/hr)
