Galil ACE in 5.56 is a much better option for $1000 less. And full rail on the receiver, cheek riser for optics and adjustable stock, and takes STANAG mags.

Only if I could convert it to take OG Galil mags, I hate that it takes nato mags. And I already have a 762x39 Ace so kind of fills that void. I just have a thing for 556 AK's

Take off the plastic shroud and use KNS(?) Adapter for the grip, or just cut off the shroud by the mag release. Then use OG mags.
PS I had posted a pic of my ACE with the mag well cut off in the thread.
