Interesting to see the steps mags go through during production process. It's similar to other things I've seen being manufactured, kinda surprising they aren't sold for a lot more money considering all the steps in the production and shipping process.

@Jake, pretty sure @Cameron Shepherd is right, oak gall. They are caused by wasps that secrete chemicals on a leaf. Inside is a larvae that will feed on the encased material/secretions inside. Good news is it doesn't cause any harm to the tree. Never heard of them causing problems for dogs, but I wouldn't chance it. I've never looked into it. Birds peck into them to eat the larvae.

The mags with the big sloppy front lug welds are Romanian. I think they came from AoA.
Check the follower for stamps on the other two.

Just noticed this perfect "4" stamp on the rear lug on the one on the left. Pretty cool for that to be perfect when the rest of the mag looks like it has seen a few wars.
