Back in Highschool we used to go to the quarry in Homer all the time and get stoned as hell sitting on the edge of the cliffs and then jump off and float/swim around that place all day. Until some kids went there and got way too drunk and one kid fell off the edge of one of the highest cliffs there and hit her head and drowned. Took several DNR dive teams to finally get her out....there was a quarry in Loganville too that had freshwater jelly fish in it. Only ever saw them once but it was weird. I think they usually stay towards the bottom.
