Yup, you've walked exactly into my point.

FAL with irons = SOLID.
Bolt action with scope = most accurate/cheapest option

Best mix of semi-auto and reasonably accurate/reliable scoped weapon = AR-10

Except the AR 10 isnt all that reliable and uses proprietary parts per each manufacturer...which I've said before. An AR10 isnt just a 308 AR15...it looses almost all the positive qualities of an AR 15

Eh....M14s are super pretty to look at and can be pretty damn accurate...but we all know the Army should have gone with the T48.

For the record, I am peak fudd and dont give a fuck what you're preferred rifle is....hell , my side piece likes 5.56 for dick's sake. I'd say I'm pretty tolerant
