M44 I scored for $200. Considering the outrageous Mosin nagant prices now, this was a pretty good deal

Also paid $5 out the door no tax on this ammo. Bought all 20 boxes.
I remember the days where you could walk into any gun shop and have your pick of a couple crates worth of Mosin's and they were all $75 each. Sometimes you could catch a sale and get them for $50. If I'd have known then what I know now I'd have have bought a couple of them every pay day.

Had 3 91/30s I paid $150 when I was 18 (2013) and have since sold them but I wanted another one and saw this m44. No way I’d pay the $300 people buy the 91/30s at.
Same here. There's a few different types of guns that I just can't bring myself to buy now because they have almost doubled or tripled in price from just several years ago.
300 gets you a savage axis in a modern caliber and a 3x9x40 scope. Feb 2018 my fiancée got me a Norinco sks for $295 out the door. Which is a shame that’s considered a steal now. I was just too young to get into guns when they were 60-90 bucks.
I once ate 4 MREs when we were overseas and I didn’t shit for 4 days. And when I did, I think my soul left my body for about 20 minutes.
