I'm about to give up on this sticky follower flatback. I feel like I have opened it up as much as I can without distorting it and the damn follower keeps binding up something awful. I knew I should have kept one of those Tapco followers and springs as a tester.

KKrules 10 mags ,1000 rounds per weapon. Dat 308 stuff ain’t cheap
I think that'll be the next step. It's a nice looking mag, so it'd be a shame for it to serve only as a paperweightswap the spring and follower with a different flatback?
