It was pretty great. The area we went to was where I spent the last trip with my oldest son. There's some video of that trip, I wanted to take her up there. Lots of hours with my boys there for the last 25 years. Wife is awesome, has killed elk, deer, helps me in every way possible.
But she don't fish. So - a hiking trip, steak by the water...best date night we've had in a while.

My idiot 2nd wife I was married to at the time wasn't at the bus stop to pick me up at 5am either. I had all my stuff in a cardboard box and this was the days before cell phones. So I had to walk out of my way everywhere to find payphones to call my house and I kept getting the answering machine. I walked 3 hours to my house and she passed me going the other way when I was about 500 yards from the apt. Did I mention it was raining?
