Dude, I don't have your experiences, but I've got some bad shit of my own. Wife and I were just discussing this last night. It is crippling, paralyzing sometimes...but you gotta keep going. At least I do. I'm not the toughest, smartest, wisest...but I keep going because I refuse to let the force that killed my son kill me, stop me. Joy is hard to find, but keep going through the motions.

I get it. It's worse when you find out things about your own friends like I posted earlier. I have mutual friends who grew up with him and find out more things today that wasn't in the media. And wonder wtf happened for this guy to go off the rails as bad as he did. I'm sure the drugs are a huge part of that but I'm not sure it's 100 percent the beginning and the end of the story.

I agree. I've dealt with bad shit also, but it's all relative. I can't imagine what you and your wife went through and how to deal with that. But I know where @Jds556762 is coming from, there are days that are a struggle...perspective is different for each of us also. Gotta keep pressing forward, and be there when others need it.
