Silencer owners aren't required to fill out the paperwork for crossing state lines with cans. ... For air travel, you still need to declare the silencer as a firearm even if you're not actually traveling with any guns. The silencer is legally considered a firearm and you can't take it into the secured areas of an airport.

OK so when you said they don't have tritium sights, they also don't have the gas block shut off/grenade launcher sight, which is the whole purpose of the bulged trunnion?
As a side benefit, u get a more rigid thicker receiver and more accurate rifle with bulges.

Ok...You had me wanting to get an OPAP but now I know I was correct in staying away from them.
The bulged trunnion is for strenght. It is associated with the RPK, light machine gun, trunnion. It is also on 5.56 Zastavas, cause of the increased chamber pressure, even though other manufactures do no do this.
This. Even though I ain’t launching grenades (though I would) I enjoy having the 1.5mm steel and RPK trunnion
